i didn't think its been 2 years since I've posted anything..... well a lot has gone on. i been in the house now 2 years Nov, I've found a wonderful guy, and the biggest just happened this month, and i changed jobs. i started working at a salon called diggs here in great falls. its nice and im happy which i havent been for awhile now. the kids are now in 6th grade and 1st. they are gorwing up so much too fast. ooo and we have pets lol the kids love it some days and not so much others. i have found a new love of the garden. this was the 2nd summer with a ton of flowers. i love it!

It seems to be "something" to adopt babies from other countries. You aren't some one unless you have a foreign baby. What happen to people adopt children form here? There are so many children that need homes. This is my view...... If you live in the u.s. you can help your self, but if you need help than too fucking bad. But there are some many people that need help, we look the other way and through money at some third world country that has homeless and starving kids just like us. Why do we look the other way. When it comes to helping help here we fall short. Saying o they can figure it out. Or some one will adopt them. Why don't we start saving the world right here instead of going over seas.

A lot has been going on. 1: I decided to stay in my apartment. It would cost too much at this point to move and sign a year lease would not do me any good. 2: great grandma is going to help with the kids. Thank god. oooo I sign for my land. Mark this down Aug 30 2006 - I am a land owner. Things are moving fast now at the work site . Which I am glad for. Today being labor day, most people take the day off going boating or camping you name it. Well for me I was doing manual labor, LOL . I was doing rim joust, caulking, and bci's beams. It was great. Most people think it so hard. Well it is but I have learned so much that I like being out there learning and completing so much. The thing I like the most is starting something and finishing it, see it from beginning to end, knowing that I have done something. It a big thing to me. I look at my hand and see all the blisters, and just think there will be something wonderful in the end. Something for my kids. Oo big but not so big news we have been adopted by a kitten. We have named her Pretty. She is black and doesn't mind my daughter, LOL so when we move in to the new house she will be coming with us. I will post pic of the work site and the kitty here in the next few days. sorry for the spelling.

Have you ever had just one of those days? I did. It started off with me finding out my rent will be going up to much more than I can really afford, then found out that my daycare will be twice as much as of next month. So whets next?? My rent now will be more than what I will pay for my house. So I am going to start looking for a more afforable place to live for the next 9 month till my house is done. So that leaves my with very few places that wouldn't make me sign a years lease. Now comes the hard part of finding a place that is not too bad and has a good school near it. Packing and move at the same time, working and getting my required hours in for my house. Sounds like a lots of stress. I thinking I'm going to hit my no more stress limit soon.

New computer

As all have you might have noticed I haven't posted in a very long time. My computer died at the end of June. I thought I could last with out it. I figured that with working on the house and working at my job that I wouldn't have any time. I was wrong. The soon to be new neighbors are not so nice. Since we have started we have had many complaint's about noise. Turns out that their in city limits and we're not. City says that you have to be quite at 8 pm. County says we can do what ever we want, since were not in city limits yet. So not to hurt any ones feelings we have to stop work at 8pm, which in turn makes it really hard for us to get work done. Just when we get started we have to stop and start cleaning up. So work has been slow to start. But on a good note I'll own land as of the 29 of this month.

I went camping this weekend. I meet up with a few other people on Saturday. The person I went up with brought his atv up. After unloading it we went on a ride. A mile in to the ride we almost rolled the atv. As a result my toe is broken. What a place to brake a bone. I'm just thankful that that's all that got hurt.

Well now my son at age 8 has a blue Mohawk. It's so dark blue it almost looks black. Never say never. You should see the looks we get. ooo and the comments and the people that turn and say something to the person their with. It's great!! I say why the hell not. He's young and if he's going to be judged all he's life get all the shit that will effect a job or school or the way people look at you. Do it young.

I'm posting this to let every one that reads this know when I'll be out of the salon on vacation or meetings for the next few months.
June - I'll be in the salon on June 12 which is a Monday from 9-4.
I'll be out of the salon the 13 and 14 . Back one the 15 9-4.
then on vacation the 16-22. I'll be in town.
July - I will be working the 3rd 9-4. The salon will be closed the 4th.
September - I'll be gone the 20-26 on vacation again, still in town.
October - I'll be gone the 15th -17th with meetings.
if you have my cell number you can reach my anytime. I will still be doing hair on vacation, but only if you call my cell. oooooo and Jeff, hi!!!! Smile !

The phone rang

The cell phone rang last night a 8:12 pm. I didn't answer it thinking it a could wait. As I looked at who called it was my dad. I don't hear from him that much, but I knew that he went bear hunting. I called him back to see if he had finely got his bear. No such luck. First sentence out of his mouth was"keri I rolled the blazer.". I was in shock. I then asked if he was ok and if the blazer could still be driven. He said no such luck. So dad went off the road near hughesville up in the mountains. He was saying that the snow storm was so bad that he went 2 feet in 45 min. Got to close to the side of the mountain and started to slide, then rolled once. When he rolled both front windows were broken out, windshield cracked, 20 some gallons of gas leaked out. Lost his gun. He ended up staying the night there in his blazer, with no blanket. At this point of his phone call I just wanted to cry. Thinking about all that he went through. He cut the seat cover off the seat to stay warm. The next morning he walked up the mountain side and walked about a 1/2 mile to a campsite. They were nice enough to take him to his camper 3 miles away. Monday he had a wrecker come to get his blazer out. It took two wreckers and a lot of work not to hurt anything more, and 800.00 dollars later. I'm just glad that he's ok. Just bumps and bruises. Ok I've been looking for a house, right. Well I'm please to say that I will be building one come may. I am working with a group to help build a house. I have to put in 32 hours a week for the next 10 months. I think it is well worth it. So if any one want to come help me there more and welcome.....Hint ....Hint. I am so happy. I found this all out on Tuesday. I can't wait to show the kidos that we have a real home with a yard. And we can finely have a pet. I think about all the great things that my kidos will love. Well the class on Sunday went way different. We should have done chemical relaxer's, but we just couldn't find the models we needed. So we did color at the last minute. It went great. I should have taken a picture but I was to excited with the way my models hair trued out. Thanks you very much Penny for letting me do"what ever I wanted". That's trust in you stylist. On other news I'm house hunting. I have been looking for 3 weeks now and still have found nothing. I must say the houses that I have seen are something to be desired. All I ask for is a some what nice sized kitchen. And bedrooms that will fit a queen size bed. That's a joke in some of the homes I looked at, they might have been able it fit a single. For now I have a feeling that I might be looking for awhile.

I haven't been on here in a month. Lets see what I have done...... Well no more tattoos. All is healed now, that took just a little over two weeks. Not too bad. I did go to the wine and food festival. o'my that was so much fun. I had so many great wines. Saw a lot of people that I haven't seen in forever. I even went Monday to find that one wine that I liked. I'll be going again next year. This Sunday the salon will be putting on a workshop and we still need two models. They have to have curly hair and be at least shoulder length, no chemical relaxer, no lightener or color with more than 20 vol. This service will be free of charge. And they will get 20% off and products. Just let me know by tomorrow night.

I did it! After lots and lots of thought finely decided to get a new tattoo. It took forever to find what I wanted on my body the rest of my life. I wanted something that means something to me. So I call my tattoo guy. This man has done all but one of my tattoos. I have followed him to 4 different shops. That's how good he is. I talked to him on Saturday wanting an appointment. No luck so I had to wait tell Monday at 6:30. That was to worst. I'm so impatient it's not funny. LOL.
Monday comes ....... I have so much shit to do. 7am get kido 1 off to school. 7:30 go drop off papers. 7:45 go get mother, she car shopping, fun. About 9:30 time to eat with kido 2 and mom. 11am go and get car fixed. I bent the rim take kido 1 to school. Don't ask. Finely get all that done. Go home do laundry. 1:30 go get my new xm and car alarm, yeah! 2pm go down and talk with tattoo guy about price. I have to have enough cash on hand to pay and give a good tip. 2:45 pick kido 1 up at school. Then off to get food for dinner. 5:45 drop both kidos off at grandma's house. And 6pm we went down to the shop and got everything ready. 7:20 we get started. The pain wasn't to bad at first. That was just the out line. 9 the out line was done same with all the little parts that the big needle wouldn't fit in. Smoke time little after the filling in started. He began at the bottom and moved his way up. Pain wasn't too bad till he moved up the back. Till I had hold my breath and close my eyes and squeeze a hand. Shit I thought I was a tough coca puff. Not last night. At 10:15 all done....... But I have to go back and get a tough up when I'm all heeled. They look so beautiful. To grandma's amazement he word's were "god keri, their so big! Did you want them that way?" hell yes. So here are the pic's #1 was from last night. You can see some of the blood still. The left top one did all that. And the #2 if from tonight. I did it! I made two cheese cakes last night. I was so uneasy about this for a week now. I put it off till I just couldn't. They turned out great. I made a small one for the kids to sample. And they love it. Now on to the next thing LOL. I have been baking a few night this week for the holiday and the grandparents 50th. And I still have a few things left. What a week I'll have. Finely after all summer bike riding. I took a month off to do nothing. My month is up, gone, dust in the wind. I'm a member off a gym again. Darn! LOL I told my self that as the weather is getting colder that I would start going to the gym. Now that is getting darker so early in the evening, I have to find some other way to keep me busy. Tonight was my 1st night back. Yeah!!! I didn't do to bad so I'm happy till tomorrow, when I can't walk. LOL but all is well, I'm going to be there again tomorrow night. Smiles!

So when did people stop respecting property? Last night a few friends and I went out. As we were leaving the It'll Do bar in Westgate, we noticed that my car didn't look right. As we got up to it the hood had been walked on. Now I have 6 big ass dents in the hood of my car. I called the police. That was, well, funny. His words........"Well it might be better if you get it fixed your self. We might never have any luck getting anything out of them." So great to know that I will have to pay out of pocket of this. And the guy that did will not have a care in the world about it.
So thanks to the guys that fucked up my car. Hope karma hits you just as hard!

I can't believe that this was the 1st weekend that I got to stay home!!!! I still did a lot. I went to an art gallery that just opened and a basketball scrimmage for the Argos. It was great just to be home and not traveling anywhere.

I did the Hiawatha trail. I had a blast. We started about 10:40 on Sunday. Man it was still cold that morning. The first tunnel was almost 2 miles long. Very cold very dark. But once that was done it was great. Very sunny. Some of the tunnels were over 8771-683 feet long and the trestles were 120-220 feet high. Just breath taking. Also there is a lot of history on the trail. I can't wait till next year. I plan to do it again. The vacation the kido's and I took was great. They did so much with Shawn's kiddies. We went to their fair. It was small town but I wouldn't have it any other way. It was my daughter's 1st time riding on the rides. The little shit wasn't scared at all. I couldn't pull here away at times. My son went on all the big kid rides. I was shocked to see him on a ride that I wouldn't have gone on. LOL there growing up so fast.

As of Friday I'm gone. Yeah!!!!!!!! The kiddos and I are headed for a long weekend. I think it's about time. So over to Idaho again, this time for fun. My son gets out of school two of the days. Which he's not too happy about but being the person that I am think "what the hell!" We're taking along the homework too. LOL - this is going to be one fun trip. I am thankful that my kiddos have been traveling since they were born. I can't say that I would want to be in the car for 7 hours if they hadn't. So loud music, cheese nips, and twizzlers.....the great snacks of the road!

today is my grandma's birthday. This is a wonderful year for her. She is turning 70 TODAY!!!! This women is the best thing in my life besides my children, she is always there for me and I can really talk to her. She never judges me. She nudges to the right directions. 40 cents in a week

I can't believe that gas prices have gone up 40 cents in a week. Montana buys gas from local areas , so why have we gone up so much? I know ... the hurricane. Yeah right. I just think about all the men and women that only make $5.15. How are they going to afford to get to work or get their kids, make ends meet, or buy food. Oh yeah that's not important anymore.

I have the itch. Every so often I get the itch for another tattoo. I can't explain it, but once I got the 1st tattoo I wanted more.
1.) small dolphin with red sun right shoulder
2.) large butterfly with tribal around it between shoulders (purple and black) this one took 4 hrs to do. Ouch!
3.) medium sphere with tribal lower back
4.) small blue fairy chick with purple wings red hair. Cover up from a me being stupid in high school.

they all have meaning for me. Everything from being free from an abusive relationship to my daughter being born. The last one was done over a year ago. Now I have the itch.......I want more! LOL

Saturday was a GREAT GREAT day at the salon. Very busy, which I love. On my way out the door I was remembering that the gal I room with all the time on my meeting should be on her way to Sturgis, hopefully via great falls. So I called her, she was in Butte. I was shocked to hear that she wasn't any where near Great Falls. I was so bummed. So when I was telling the family that she was headed to Billings for the night. Well as it turns out my sis didn't want to go home to her house for reasons I wont put people through. LOL . So said she would love to stay at my house over night as long as I cut her hair and pick up dinner. That's not bad, so I did after I picked a few things at the house to take to billings. Few things I mean a hair brush, blanket, pillow, and something warm to sleep in. With all that done I finely hit the road about 6:30 last evening. I was pushing the time. I had talked to her at 5:00 pm, and told her that I would be the in, LOL, 2 1/2 hours,LOL yeah I know it's a longer drive I was just so happy to get out of town and see her and have FUN! Which I needed after the long week I had. I picked the music of choice. Limp bizkit.
Finely getting to billings about 10:00 I called to fined out how to get to the koa camp ground.
pulling in the the camp ground I was amazed to see all the wonderful bike I was in heaven. I had to call her again to fine out where they were at in the camp, god it was so big and so many people there I would have been lost in all the bikes. Finely finding her. I meet all the wonderful people she was traveling with. Wow talk about great people. After a few mins chatting, I told her to get ready we're going out!!! Well we ended up with 3 more people going with us. After finding the bar of choice to handle us we ran in to " the last night out " party for a dude from Wyoming. And I thought Montana's had an thing for sheep. They had a blowup one.lol, and spoons to spank the happy groom. Which we didn't pass up. After many shoots and drinks later we closed the bar. And some how managed to take to blow up chick with us. LOL as all you can't just go to sleep. So some of us stayed up. We all chatted, I braided Tony's hair, and of course drank some more. But I didn't forget the water, lots and lots of water. God know what times it was when I finely to bed. I pulled the blanket and pillow out of the car. I slept out under the big sky. No tent need there. I was great. With few hours of sleep I woke to the sound of bikes heading off to Sturgis. What a great sound. I know it was time for me to get back to Great Falls. After many good byes and hugs, I was sad to go. I so wanted to go with everyone. I wanted to say thanks to the great people I meet and to Shawn, Tony, Dakota, and Allen for a great night out. Next year I will be going to Sturgis too.

Sun burns and bruises

I got in to Boise in the morning to drive for 2 more hours to Cascade Lake. Wow what a place. It reminded me of Flathead. It's about 30 mins from McCall, Idaho. during the drive I was amazed how much traffic there was. It was like we never left the city. After we got all settled in the camp site, we all got on the boat to go play. I'll have some pics here in a few days. I for the first time went on a tube and was pulled behind the boat. I had the best time. I laughed so much the I fell off a few times. So the next day was meetings camp-side; it was great till I noticed that I was burnt. 4 hours next to a lake. I should have realized that I would have been burnt. I couldn't believe the next day when I got up how much. Well lets say the heat from my burns kept me warm all night. LOL . I do recommend if you ever get to the Boise area the Hilton Garden Inn on Overland and Cole. Very nice. The Goodwood barbeque restaurant has really really great ribs. I am a bbq freak. This was a great trip. And I didn't even see the evil flight attendant. LOL

I'm sorry to say that........ My vacation is over, my last day of vacation will be spent in 3 different airports. LOL, I decided to fly out to Boise for meetings on my last day of vacation. Well it's not that bad. I love traveling. I love to fly, yep I'm still that one person that get all Getty when I fly. LOL
I told myself all day I need to get started packing........Well that was this morring and here it is almost 4 pm and I have yet to get out the suitcase. I am the worst at packing. My kids keep asking "can we go to grandma's?" I just say I have to pack. It's my last day to be with them and enjoy them to the fullest before I have to go back to work. I guess I don't want to give that up yet.
well I never went biking at all. I have to laugh at my self, when I'm working I try to get on the trail at least three times a week. I rush to get the kidos and get dinner done, then rush to drop off the little one and pick up the bikes before it gets to late to ride. All this durning a normal week. Then comes along vacation......... No time was spent on the trail at all, didn't even think about it. I spent most of the time swimming and playing around the yard with the kidos. I must say, this has been the most wonderful week around my kids. They really didn't fight that much, and they gave my the biggest smile when I was watching them go through grandma's sprinkler. The best was when my daughter cuddled up and took a nap in my chair with me yesterday. She never wants to cuddle with mom. My son has been the best. I got to sleep in till 9:30 almost every morring. Now I look at them, my son play with car's , and my daughter napping on the couch. I don't want my week to end.

Yeah!!!! Today was my last day of work till the 28. I can't believe that I'm officially on vacation. hmmm what to do, what to do. Don't get my wrong I love my job, but every one needs to get away. So flathead lake is looking good, same with swimming and biking everyday. But this is vacation so we'll see if anything gets done. LOL

So today was the start of "Exploring Montana", the whole Lewis and Clark thing. I'm sad to say I'm not too excited about this. I was reading on the the web site about how much the events are and man for a resident of Montana I think the tickets are a little out there. I have been talking to some of my clients about this to get what they think about all this and 9 out of 10 are not going to do anything the state has to offer due to the price. You have to imagine that any other year all the events the state is offering up are free. So why in the right mind would I pay 15.00 a day??? Or over 1000.00 for the whole thing? I am really shocked that they want that kind of money. I think it's great--all the Lewis and Clark stuff--but I'm not willing to shell that kind of money out, then pay for gas on top of it. Traveling between two towns, to pay hell high gas prices and then pay for events that should be free. Sorry no thanks. I'll just enjoy everything else.

Weather

Well I like to say the weather here always amazes me. I have lived here most my life and yet you still never know what going to happen outside. I knew it was going to snow sometime between last night and this morning. Like most spring snow I was thinking it would be just light......Was I so wrong it was the big heavy wet snow mixed with rain. Just for the record I hate snow..LOL . But I must say it was nice to see the white stuff this morning. I know that with out it we will have a ton of forest fires this summer. I love to travel around the state, but to see the places that I enjoyed in the past years gone. There's a great sadness. So if not snow lets see some rain.

So I have a few questions.......
I work with the public; when you go somewhere and they don't have any appointment available right that minute....do you get mad and throw a fit or make an appointment for when they do have time?
Do you ever miss your lunch? I do all the time, just to fit that one person in to make sure they are taken care of. I love working with the public but I feel that we are disrespected every day. We miss our breaks and lunches and stay late just to make other people happy. And people wonder why working with the public is so hard to do.
So think next time when some one says it will be five minutes....they might need to take a few minutes so they can give you the best service possible.

I just bought a mountain bike. So now I can go off roading. lol--well not really I have a little one that I have to pull. I couldn't wait to go out and try this great new toy. I got in about a half hour ride before it started to rain. But I also realized that the cart was low on air. So maybe tomorrow will be better for a bike ride with the kiddos. I can't wait till I get a little better in shape. There are bike trails near Idaho I want to try out. Well I must say the rain was great tonight. It's so much better than snow, LOL. Sorry Dave snow season is over........Yes!
